A very warm welcome to the website of the Benefice of Blandford Forum & Langton Long!

It is our hope and prayer that - as the local Anglican Churches of St Peter & St Paul, and All Saints - we seek to live out our faith in Jesus Christ in ways that are: Radical, Relevant and Relational.

Radical: The word 'Radical' means to go back to our roots. In other words to live 'radically' is to return to our core purpose as a group of believers who seek to honour God in our worship, centre our lives around the teaching and example of Jesus Christ and to be empowered by the Holy Spirit to live lives that demonstrate the transforming love of God.

Relevant: We seek to be a worshipping community in which we are able to confidently communicate in word and action our faith in Jesus Christ and His relevance to our community today.

Relational: We seek to be a place that offers a generous welcome to everyone who comes through our doors, and to be a positive presence in the wider community.

If you're looking to get involved could I suggest the 5 following ways:

Worship Weekly - The best way to feel connected is by coming along and being part of our weekly gathering.

Pray Boldly - Prayer is the engine room of the Church: so dare to pray big prayers for our worshipping life, mission and ministry!

Serve Generously - As well as "attending" perhaps you could get involved by signing up to help serve in an area of church life?

Grow Confidently - Join a Connect Group to meet with others to explore God's word, to pray, to engage in outreach, share hospitality and have lots of fun!

Give Joyfully - As a Church we are solely dependent on the generosity of our members. Please consider giving financial support to the life and mission of our church.

Please bookmark our website Home Page. We are exploring ways to communicate more effectively and are planning to rebuild and relaunch the website, aiming for Advent 2017. As a church - a body of people - we want to give a bigger picture of who we are and what we are about! In the meantime, if you have any questions, please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.
